My name is Alisa Kusnitzow, and I am thrilled to be teaching Spanish to toddlers and preschoolers! For 8 years, I taught Spanish at a top tier public elementary school on the Northshore. While there, I co-developed the elementary Spanish curricula and enjoyed teaching grades K-4. My students call me Señora Kus because Kusnitzow is more than a mouthful!
I developed Sing With Señora out of a desire to reach a younger audience. Because our brains are wired to learn multiple languages at birth, it seemed a shame to me that I wasn’t tapping into that ability earlier on in my students’ lives. I set out to create a unique learning experience that would be both engaging and accessible – even for students who aren’t yet able to verbalize in their first language. During each class we are busy playing games, singing songs, dancing and using hand gestures. My students can’t help but be enthusiastic as they participate in any way they can!

I currently teach in schools, camps and libraries, as well as hold private classes and events and tutor all ages.
I truly love what I do! I hope you’ll contact me if you’d like to learn more about me, my existing programs or how I can develop one specific to your needs.
