Weekly Sing-a-long videos
Weekly videos are designed to be enjoyed by children (and their families) whenever and as often as the child desires. During each 15-20 minute video, children will sing, recite, and repeat in Spanish. There will be laughter, opportunities to move and guessing games to play as your child learns words and phrases as well as original and authentic Spanish songs and rhymes. Research points to the benefit of repetition, so feel free to watch each video repeatedly!
Here’s a little taste of how the video will work. Hope you enjoy!
Drop Off Class – virtual or in person
Our weekly class will begin with the routine of greetings, calendar and weather talk before moving on to the unit of focus. Some examples of units are: pets, clothing, body parts, food, etc. The length and depth of each of those units will depend on individual and class interest. Each week, students will be exposed to 1-3 new words related to the unit through song, story and repetition. Various games will be played to increase their exposure to the new words and provide opportunities to use them along with prior vocabulary. Class concludes with a goodbye song and smiles all around.
Caregiver/Tot Class
Our weekly class will begin with the routine of greetings with a song. Each week, we will share nursery rhymes, songs, books, interactive stories and more! Caregivers are encouraged to sing, dance and laugh along with their child, even as their little one sometimes moves about the space, exploring. Strong visual aids are provided to capture the attention of the little ones while helping caregivers to learn. Class concludes with a goodbye song and smiles all around.
